If you arrived at this site expecting it to be the official site of OurSpace workspaces you are in the wrong place. This site is not associated with them. If it was your intention to visit their site you should immediately navigate away from this site. This website publishes information for investors in OurSpace workspaces and the parties involved in structuring, promoting, servicing and/or operating them.
We are Safe Or Scam and we act on behalf of concerned investors.
We review investment products and advise on recovery options. We work with legal teams to investigate all aspects of an investment with the aim of prosecuting those involved and recovering an investor's money.
We challenge developers, project owners, sales agents and third parties involved in a project to justify the claims made in correspondence and promotional material.
We are currently representing investors who invested in virtual workspaces sold to them by OurSpace, a company originally operating out of Dubai. These investors are now seeking refunds of their investments. We have successfully recovered money from OurSpace in the past and have concerns over the history of the company, the people involved and their business model.
This website will highlight a few of those concerns and will give the people involved in the project the opportunity to comment and correct any inaccuracies.
If you are an investor or have information on the project, companies and/or people involved we would like to hear from you.
OurSpace sold 'virtual workspaces' to investors. The business model was identical to that of the now disgraced Bar Works Inc in the USA. Investors bought a workspace, one that does not exist in the real world, and leased it back to OurSpace in return for a guaranteed rental return. The claim was that the rental payments would be covered by membership fees paid by people who would want to use the workspaces.
OurSpace made a number of exaggerated claims as to the level of its capitalisation and its growth potential.
OurSpace International FZ LLC, operating out of Dubai, was the original company.
The workspaces were sold by United Property Group (UPG/UPC/UPI) and other dubious sales companies. The owner of UPG, Jim Moore, was involved with Bar Works and has been charged with fraud in the USA.
People involved with OurSpace include: Kevan Halliwell - Founder; Malcolm Douglass - Founder; Edward Rice - Founder; Honey Meek - Head of Sales and formerly UPG; Sean Phillips - Business Development.
OurSpace has recently tried to switch investors into a new structure operating out of Malta.
OurSpace was a clone of Bar Works Inc which has collapsed and been prosecuted in the USA. The court ruled that the investment was actually the sale of unregulated securities and a Ponzi Scheme.
Safe Or Scam is representing some clients in a recovery action and is now aiming to establish a group prosecution of OurSpace and the parties involved in in the founding, promotion, selling and operation of this investment.
